William LeColst Obituary

HAVERHILL - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of William J. LeColst, a cherished husband, devoted father, proud grandfather, loyal brother, and beloved friend. William passed away peacefully at his home in Haverhill, MA, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born to Frank and Pricilla LeColst of Middleton, MA, William brought joy and warmth to all who knew him. His journey began on June 30th, 1955, and throughout his life, he embraced each day with determination, kindness, and unwavering love.

For over 48 years, William was the loving husband of Karen M. Belisle. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Their bond was a testament to the enduring power of love and commitment.

William was a proud father to his daughters, Shannon LeColst and Rebecca LeBlanc, and his son, Michael Staples, whom he found later in life. His heart swelled with pride for his grandchildren, Christian LeColst, Jayden, Riley, and Maddox LeBlanc. William's love and guidance will forever resonate in their lives.

As a highly skilled union painter for 30 years, William approached his work with dedication and craftsmanship. His commitment to excellence and hard work earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

William found solace and joy in simple pleasures. He cherished his time at Lake Winnipesaukee, cheering passionately for the Bruins, and regaling loved ones with nostalgic stories. His home and yard were a testament to his meticulous care and pride.

A man of immense generosity and compassion, William touched countless lives with his kindness and thoughtfulness. His presence lit up any gathering, and his laughter filled the hearts of those around him.

William's love for his family was unparalleled. He cherished every moment spent by the pool, sharing stories, and creating memories with those he held dear. His family was his greatest treasure, and his love for them knew no bounds.

William was many things to many people—tough, sensitive, strong, and sentimental. He was the best advice giver, the master of backflips off the diving board, and the storyteller who could captivate an audience with his passion for life.

William was preceded in death by his siblings Sandra Pollock, Donald LeColst, and Richard LeColst. He is survived by his loyal and thoughtful siblings, Tommy LeColst, Jack LeColst, Kenneth LeColst, Dorothy Carroll, and Pricilla Pollock. This family shares and extraordinary bond, one that William was so proud to be a part of.

Though William's physical presence may be gone, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. May his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness continue to inspire us all.

Rest in peace, dear William. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever be a blessing to us all.
