On Friday, December 15, Stephan ‘Steve’ A. Ronan, passed away at age of 65.
Steve was born in Newburyport, on November 13, 1958. Steve had a spectacular childhood and enjoyed his formative years, he was quite the character, loved to laugh and was always fun to be with.
Steve’s father was a US Coast Guard commissioned officer which necessitated several family moves throughout the country. As a youngster Steve lived and attended schools in Menlo Park, CA, Governors Island, NY as well as Newburyport, MA.
Steve attended Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School then enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. In adulthood Steve suffered with medical complications associated with diabetes and mental health issues that resulted in him becoming a resident in various assisted living facilities. After a hard fought medical battle, Steve succumbed to Cancer.
Steve was preceeded in death by his father James F. Ronan and mother Joan N. (Parasso) Ronan. Steve is survived by his sister Lynn A. DeGloria-Ronan of Amesbury, MA, and his brother Jim Ronan of Edmond, OK.
Rest easy Steve, you will be forever loved and missed. (Your sister Lynn and brother Jim.)

There are no services planned at this time, interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Newburyport.
