Sandra (Pettipost) O'Neil

HAVERHILL – Sandra (Pettipost) O’Neil, 69, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 8, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on February 5, 1952 in Haverhill, daughter of the Edward and Barbara (Douphinette) Pettipost. Graduate of Pentucket High School, class of 1970.

Sandra worked for McGregor-Smith, Haverhill Public Schools, John Hancock and Unicare. Most of all she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed the beach, making jewelry, going for rides to Maine with her husband, boat rides and attending every one of her children’s sporting events. Sandra received several awards for volunteering for Whittier Booster Club and being children’s Cub Scout and Girl Scout leaders.

Surviving family members include her loving husband Daniel O’Neil; children Shannon O’Neil and fiancé Nicholas Quintal, Keith McNulty and wife Kelley, Christopher McNulty and wife Michelle and Alyse Wilson and husband Stanley; grandchildren Nicholas McNulty, Liam McNulty, Liliana McNulty, Avery McNulty, Reese McNulty, Abigail Wilson and Stanley Wilson, Jr.; great-grandson Ezra; siblings Susan Mills and husband Matt, Stephan Michael Pettipost, Sharon Tremblay and husband Raymond, Sherrill Pettipost-Reed and Scott Pettipost.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 18, in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Please meet directly at the church.
