HAVERHILL - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Patricia “Patty” R. Hackbarth on May 17, 2023. She was a devoted mother, a cherished sister, and a dear friend. Her sudden departure has left us all in shock and profound grief.
Born on February 24, 1966, in Saugus, MA and was a long-term resident of Bradford, MA. Patty was a remarkable woman whose presence brought light and joy to everyone around her. She had a kind and compassionate nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her warmth, infectious laughter, and gentle spirit touched the lives of countless individuals, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
As a mother, Patty was the epitome of love and devotion. Her unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love shaped the life of her daughter, Laura, was stepmother to Kristi Melvin and Mimi to her and her husband, Josh’s three children Sadie, Evelyn, and JJ. Patty had left an indelible mark on all their hearts. She embraced every moment spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Patty was the daughter of Dolores and her late husband Donald Reardon. Cherished sister to Daniel Reardon, his wife Sherry, Timothy Reardon and Deborah and her husband Ron DelSapio; Aunt to Patrick Reardon, Nicholas DelSapio, Kathryn DelSapio, and Matthew Reardon; predeceased by her husband of 24 years Robert Hackbarth. She is also remembered by her extended family members and numerous friends who were fortunate enough to have shared in her life.
In addition to her role as a loving mother, Patty was a dedicated professional, excelling in her career in Human Resources. Her professionalism, work ethic, and passion for her job garnered her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. Patty was a woman of great strength and resilience, and she faced every challenge in life with courage and determination. She was a hard worker, always putting her family first and doing everything she could to provide for them.
Patricia loved spending time with her family and her friends, especially visiting her daughter in D.C., or a trip to the beach with her sister and niece. She was selflessly caring and always willing and enjoyed helping others. Patty enjoyed spending time in her beloved garden, reading and of course fostering all the animals in need.
During this difficult time, we find solace in the memories we shared with Patty and the love she showered upon us. Though her physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever reside in our hearts, guiding and comforting us through life's journey.
Memorial Service to honor the life of Patty will be held on Wednesday, May 24, in the Driscoll Funeral 309 So. Main Street Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. We invite all those who knew and loved her to join us in celebrating her life and bidding her a fond farewell.
