Janice Meuse

HAVERHILL – Janice M. (Kelleher) Meuse, 82, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

Daughter of Frederick and Margaret Kelleher. She was a lifelong resident of Haverhill and graduated from Saint James High School. Jan took priority in working and playing hard all her life. She was passionate about helping provide for her family, rarely taking days off from work. She was extremely talented as a buyer/planner and manager in the manufacturing and Electronics trades.

Jan  was happily married to her soul mate, Owen, in 1959, and they just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary this year. She was a loving and devoted wife and will be deeply missed until they meet again. She was the proud mother of two boys and a girl, David, Laurie and Brian. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with them and her grandchildren. She loved to dance and was always at the center of a get together either with family or friends. She was always there for people if they needed her.

She enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, horseback riding and loved the outdoors, skiing and playing tennis and she was tireless, always on the go. At home she was the Queen of her castle, she loved her home and property, spent hours taking care of the property, and gardens. Jan loved cooking and cooked many meals for the less fortunate and will be remembered for her sense of humor, always at the center of a funny story. She loved investing in the stock market also. She will be missed terribly, She touched the hearts of everyone she met and will always be remembered.

Jan  is survived by her loving husband Owen Alfred Meuse; children David Christopher Meuse, Laurie Jean DiFruscio and husband Nick and Brian Jeffrey Meuse and wife Linda; grandchildren Rachael Martinez and husband Anthony, Michelle DiFruscio, Karrie, Daniel, Scott, Leanne and Marissa; great-grandchildren Gabriel, Ava, Sonya, Devin, Jessenia, Jaylee, AJ, Shawn, Katelin and Noah; and eight great-great grandchildren.
