HAVERHILL - Jacob “Jake” Daniel Wallace left this earth too soon on Thursday, August 12, 2021.
A precious boy born on September 20, 1984. Growing up Jacob played soccer and was on the honor role in school. He was always playful with his brother including video games while always beating his dad. Horseplay was Jake’s middle name. Once his sisters came along, he took his role as big brother with pride always looking out for his three siblings.
As Jacob grew, so did his love for music. He loved Led Zeppelin so much he named his beloved dog Zeppelin, Zep for short. Then Sabby came along named after Black Sabbath of course. Jacob could always be counted on to help with just about anything. He never shied away from hard work and could do anything he put his mind to. Fixing and building things just came easy to him. Jake was a very talented carpenter and car mechanic. He had many passions in life. First and foremost his beautiful daughter Alannah, they were bonded together since birth. Jake took fatherhood seriously and loved his daughter immensely.
Even as an adult Jacob’s horseplay continued. Riding dirt bikes and four wheeling were second nature to him. Friends were very important to Jake, he loved getting together drinking his Bud Lights just hanging out having fun. Jacob was a kind soul, full of love and compassion and will be missed so very much by all who knew him.
Jacob is survived by his daughter Alannah Wallace of Revere; mother Terrena Caison Premo of SC; father William Wallace of Haverhill; siblings Brook Wallace of Haverhill, Natalie Erksine of SC; Ryan and Kanthira Wallace of Manchester, NH and nephew Xander Wallace; also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 17, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jacob’s memory to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. For guestbook visit www.driscollcares.com
